The Push Sports Elbow Brace is the solution for tennis elbow or golfer’s arm. When excessive demands are suddenly made on the tendon where it attaches to the bone of the forearm at the elbow, it becomes painful. The elbow brace applies pressure to specific forearm muscles via the pad, which relieves the tendon where it attaches to the bone of these muscles in the elbow joint. The pressure gradually builds up through the spring-like material in the pad and a small elastic section of the strap. This reduces pain complaints, resulting in exercising with a feeling of assurance.

IMPORTANT
Correct use of your brace requires a detailed diagnosis of the cause of your pain complaints or instability. Always consult your GP, a physiotherapist or a specialist before applying the brace.

When should you use the Push Sports Elbow Brace?

  • In cases of ‘tennis elbow’: an injury caused by overtaxing the wrist extensor muscles where they attach to the outer side of the elbow.
  • In cases of ‘golfer's arm’: an injury caused by overtaxing the wrist flexor muscles where they attach to the inner side of the elbow

Sizing

  • The Push Sports Elbow Brace is universal for left and right elbow.

Applying the Brace

Before use: remove the protective foil from the pad.

1. Insert the end of the strap through the strap ring. Slide the brace up the arm. In the case of a tennis elbow, the yellow pad is positioned on the outside of the elbow; in the case of a golfer's elbow, it should be on the inside. The strap ring should not be located in the crease of the elbow.

2. Place the brace on the lower arm muscles, approximately six centimetres below the elbow.

3. Close the strap tightly enough to feel pressure when the arm is bent and the muscles are tightened. No tension should be felt when the muscles are relaxed. The strap can be left in the strap ring when the brace is removed.
